Hey boys, if you plan on playing BFBC2 with us tonight, make sure up update punkbuster as its kicking people out of the games straight away...

You also need to put the file in manually as it doesnt update automatically through the PB.exe program... well it didnt for me anyway and a few others have been saying the same thing :S

yeah, i had a fucking awful 2 hours getting this game to connect on purchase day. classic bf fan reaming as usual.

Nah its all good, it was the servers I was trying to get into :S Gamearena servers, wtf... went into 3 other ones, it was fine

Incorrect information. Its more PC players than console gamers, not combined though.

Either way its because console gamers are still playing MW2.

its completely different, yet, the same to bf2.

I like it. - its a bit extra arcade-y - being a console port, not surprising.

it addresses the vehicle imbalances fairly well- they have the same fear factor on infantry but not so much ridiculous rape-age.

but

the more i think about it - the more it is simillar to cod mow than bf 2, and i start to miss good bf2 games

Yeah no shite. I had a spare two hours on Tuesday I could have fit in a few rounds....20 minutes later trying to join an effing server, it was :curse:

Hehehe, yeah totally. More servers would mean more smiling gamers out there... Last night after the annoyance of trying to find a game and some horrible spawn camping and imbalance issues with teams I was furious... Craig was laughing at me, I was raging everywhere, I even pulled out the "I F****** HATE THIS GAME" though I don't really. It would be much nicer if servers weren't so few (decent ones that is).
I enjoyed the game overall, leveling up is so fucking tasking on time, but the way they do it is enjoyable through the different load-outs. I don't know why anyone was worrying about graphics, sure mine aren't very high but it looks great even still with medium settings, and it runs great even though I have a shitty 1x GPU slot

Their network code must be great because, I was running on crappy mobile broadband, with pings of 170-200 and the game ran smoothly. There were hitches here and there from my ping increasing up to 999 after a short drop out but I'm amazed at how well they've done. GO them!

Anyway, really looking forward to enjoying a game with you guys tonight if we can actually fit all of us into 1 server >__> I'm not looking optimistically at that yet.

well.... just accepted a 3rd friend request on bc2, and it promptly cleared the first two off the list, have to re-add them.
